Process Engineering Calculators

In development — coming soon

Process engineering calculators cover unit operations — the balances, duties, and separation stages behind a plant flowsheet. This category is in development and no tools are published yet.

The planned tools use IAPWS-IF97 for steam and water properties, LMTD with an F-correction for heat exchangers, and the standard shortcut methods for distillation. Relief sizing will follow API 520 rather than a generic orifice equation.

Until then, nothing on this page is a working tool. The lists below show what the category will hold and which published calculators already overlap with it, so a visit here does not end in a dead end.
